"Who is Verna McGregor?"

I am Verna McGregor, proud Algonquin (Omamawinini) from the Kitigan Zibi First Nation near Maniwaki, Quebec. Ottawa-Gatineau, the Nation’s Capital, forms part of our Nation’s unceded traditional lands. My work spans decades of advocacy, cultural preservation, and bridging traditional practices with contemporary challenges.”
